Beijing Guoshi institute for laboratory and inspection body (referred to as "GS") is an institute that provides scientific research, standard services, training and communications for Chinese laboratories and inspection bodies.

　　The service core of GS are professional, efficient and pragmatic. GS provides the technical support for government management departments, industry management departments, national accreditation body, laboratories and inspection bodies.

　　GS is laboratory and inspection body assessor training institute authorized by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) which is in charge of the management of laboratories and inspection bodies in China. GS is a food laboratory expert working group authorized by SAMR. Meanwhile, GS is the training institute of professional skills for standard editing and review authorized by SAMR.

　　There are more than 100 standards and textbooks compiled by the GS, with more than 200 researchers and trainers in laboratories and inspection bodies, more than 300 technical experts in various fields, more than 500 strategic partners, and 30,000 customers of laboratories and inspection bodies, more than 300,000 management and technical personnel in laboratories and inspection bodies have been trained by GS.
